The Grizzly Gouda is aged between nine months and a year. The aging gives it its trademark crystallized proteins give it a bit of a crunch along with a hearty, complex flavour. It can stand up to the sweetness of Alberta honey and the earthiness of that secret ingredient – truffle oil. Mead or honey wine is the perfect accompaniment with this decadent appetizer. Honey Drizzled Alberta Gold Nuggets

All you need is aged gouda or parmesan, honey and a little truffle oil to make this deeply satisfying appetizer.

Ingredients
- 6 ounces Sylvan Star Grizzly Gouda (you can substitute an aged Parmesan)
- Drizzle of honey
- Drizzle of truffle oil
Instructions
- Cut the block of cheese in bite-size chunks and arrange them on a small serving platter.
- Drizzle generously with liquid honey and sparingly with truffle oil.
- Enjoy with mead and a bit of crusty bread if you like.
