Savour food – Calgary’s Crossroads Market expansion news- @CalgaryHerald piece by @JohnGilchrist

Crossroads Market gets snazzy makeover.

If you read John Gilchrist’s article above, I think you’ll agree it’s nice to see that one of Calgary’s three year round markets is refurbishing and expanding. Now that we have three farmer’s markets open year round in Calgary it is so much easier to source your food locally and directly from a great local food producer.

Here are the links to our three year round farmer’s markets as follows:

I’ll be speaking about lots of ways to #EatLocally for the Calgary Public Library at three sessions this week and next. The schedule is as follows:

Louise Riley Branch – Thursday, April 4, 7 – 8:30pm

Nose Hill Branch – Monday, April 8, 1 – 2:30pm

Southwood Branch – Wednesday, April 10, 7 – 8:30pm

You can contact those library branches to see if there is any room available. There’s just so many ways to savour food and our local food scene. I hope you’ll join me as I share a few of my favourites.
